Iwayemi OlanorinMemberHello Family,
Please I need an insight to what happened in the passage below:
“6.And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.” [For full understanding of the event that happened prior to this please read 2 Samuel 6:1-10].
What could have Uzzah done wrong here that kindled the instant anger of the Lord. Please kindly help steer your responses toward our day to day activities that has the tendency of kindling God’s anger.
I pray we will not cross the line, to the extent of kindling God’s anger, out of our ‘innocent’ ignorance.
