The hearts of the righteous are protected by God and His holy angels, shielding them from the darkness of evil. Psalm 91:11-12 says, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways… They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.On the other hand, those with evil hearts are vulnerable to the snares of the devil, who seeks to ruin them. 1 Peter 5:8 warns, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”While God protects His children, the devil has no such power to protect those who reject God’s love. Jesus said in John 10:10, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.Let us seek God’s protection and guidance, that we may remain in His light and avoid the darkness of evil.
