If you want to be a Christian, be one! Let the life of Christ be your hallmark. The “Christian life” has become so degenerated because of many who claimed to be one, but their lives and conduct betray such. We have declined to a point where after professing your faith as a “Christian”, you will still be asked if you’re born-again Christian. Christian is synonymous to “Born-again”; there is nothing like “Born-again Christian”.

You are not a Christian by the virtue of your Christian name, Religious background, Church attendance. As good as all those are, they are privileges and works but they don’t save the soul. You are a Christian (Born again), when you come to the full acceptance of the saving Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that grants you a state of newness of life (2 Cor 5:17), dead to sin, alive to Righteousness.

”For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.“ says Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

”Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away.
